Best Chinese food option for Muslims

#bestchinesefood

My Muslim friend loved this place and insisted me to give it a try. In fact it’s the most famous Chinese food brand that originated from Taiwan.

The famous Egg Fried Rice is satisfying in that every bite contains bits of egg, which is comforting in a way. But strangely, despite that, there’s barely any egg aroma, which is quite puzzling.

On the other hand, the Pork Chop on top was a pleasant surprise—thick yet tender, with an even texture that isn’t overly fatty. The seasoning was also spot on.

The Beef Soup was decent but not particularly remarkable. The halal version felt a bit thin, while the regular version was clear but not exactly rich or complex. However, when ordering Beef Soup as a standalone dish, the cuts of beef and tendon were nearly flawless in terms of selection and doneness—easily among the top three best beef dishes I’ve ever had. The portion size was also quite generous.

One dish that would make me return is the Grouper Fish Dumplings. The naturally sweet seafood flavor blends subtly yet elegantly with the wheat fragrance of the dumpling skin. But it has been removed from the menu since my last visit. Hope that they would bring it back soon.

As for stir-fried dishes, you'd be better off spending your money at a regular restaurant, where both the flavor and portion size would be more satisfying. And I do not recommend the sesame noodles.
