A local checking into a city hotel — Indigo Hotel

I stayed at Hotel Indigo KL for two nights, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had in the city.

The room was spacious, beautiful, and filled with natural light. Very good for taking pictures and makes you feel very calm. Instead of curtains, they use blackout blinds, and they actually do the job. I slept through both mornings without meaning to. The bed was that soft, sink-right-in type that makes it hard to get up, and the pillows were just right. Not too soft & not too hard. The room temperature was perfectly set too. Quiet, cool, and comfortable. I didn’t even need the blanket.

They’ve paid attention to the small stuff, which I thought was nice:
- Nespresso machine in the room
- A proper tea set with a surprisingly good selection (not just Lipton)
- Refillable water and ice buckets on request
- A nostalgic congkak set in the room
- Full-sized Biology shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (smelled great and didn’t dry out my hair)
- Built-in speakers that were actually good.. perfect for lo-fi in the background
- The only downside: TV had very limited channels. Bring a laptop + HDMI cable if you plan to watch anything

🍳Breakfast – Better Than Expected
This was a solid 8/10.

-Nasi lemak with actual spicy sambal ikan bilis
-Fresh roti jala and roti canai with thick and rich chicken curry
- Kuih-muih that tasted homemade
- A great bread and spread section (Pandan Kaya!!!)
- Their coffee was superb too!
- Crazy selection of cheeses for their cheese platter... though I did find it funny that there were no crackers in sight 😅
- Can improve on their scrambled eggs though… tasteless.

📍 Parking
Valet parking RM20/day with unlimited in-and-outs perfect if you’re driving

Did i also mention gym is 24 hours?!

Would I stay again? Yes!! next time with my HDMI cable, and probably staying in bed a little longer 🛏️
