Day Trip to Leizhou from Zhanjiang
If you're in Zhanjiang, you should take a day trip to Leizhou, a small city with a lot to offer.
Leizhou is a small city. You can rent an electric bike to get around. All the attractions are free! It's perfect for a day trip. Here's a suggested itinerary: Leizhou West Lake is located in the city center! It's easy to get to, and there are many snacks nearby. The museum and pedestrian street are also nearby. West Lake is not very big, so you won't get tired walking around it. Tianning Temple is also nearby, so you can visit if you're interested.
2: Sanyuan Tower Park Sanyuan Tower is a landmark of Leizhou. You can't say you've been to Leizhou if you haven't seen Sanyuan Tower. It's also one of the ancient buildings in Leizhou. The color of the pagoda is very beautiful, and the photos you take on the city wall with Sanyuan Tower will be stunning.

Leizhou is a very small city. I don't recommend staying here. You can make a round trip from Zhanjiang in one day! Leizhou is famous for its beef, lamb, dog, and pork. There are many dog and pork restaurants near Qu Street. I also noticed that there are many temples around the streets of Leizhou.
