I stopped by Yam Fresh at Sunway Velocity for a post-meal dessert, and it turned out to be the perfect sweet ending. If you’re a fan of taro (like I am), this spot is a little purple paradise! Everything is made with yam or sweet potato—ice cream, tarts, drinks, and even chewy balls in their signature desserts.

I tried one of their cold taro bowls, loaded with soft taro cubes, creamy base, and chewy toppings—it was smooth, not overly sweet, and very satisfying. The texture contrast between the icy base and warm toppings really worked, and the yam flavor came through beautifully.
