BookXcess

A must-visit check-in spot in Malaysia that I planned to go to from the start of the trip. After seeing everyone’s photos in the reviews, I couldn’t resist following their footsteps to take pictures here.
BookXcess is a bookstore that is currently very popular in Malaysia.
They have several branches, all very beautiful. Their concept focuses on cool photo spots. For example, the first branch I visited is near Chinatown, which used to be a classic cinema. They renovated it.
The ground floor has a drip coffee shop, and late at night, the first floor has a trendy bar. From the outside, you wouldn’t know, but it’s very crowded.
📍 Atmosphere & Decoration
The RexKL branch is located in the old cinema building, transformed into a large bookstore with a maze-like design and cool photo corners, perfect for Instagram lovers 📸
The Lalaport Mall branch has a spacious area, comfortable cool air, great for strolling around, and is often a favorite spot for serious readers who focus more on buying books than taking photos.
