Welcome to BookXcess REXKL, the bookworm’s version of Narnia—except instead of a wardrobe, you enter through the historic Rex Cinema. Located in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur, this giant maze of discounted books is so huge, you’ll need breadcrumbs (or Google Maps) to find your way out.

Nearest stations? Pasar Seni MRT/LRT—because carrying home 20 books is easier when public transport is involved.

Open 10 AM – 10 PM daily, this place is perfect for readers, Instagrammers, or people pretending to read while actually just hunting for aesthetic photos. Warning: once inside, you might “accidentally” buy enough books to build your own fortress. But hey, cheaper than therapy!
