To find a quiet reading spot with good lighting and ambience in the busy shopping district of Bukit Bintang would be a pleasant surprise. Minimally decorated and well-manicured, eslite bookstore is an upscale bookstore with such an ambience that calms the readerly soul, and allows for a peaceful time either browsing the shelves, silently perusing the titles in multiple languages, namely in English, Malay and Chinese, or seated proper ensconced with the pathos of literature. Located on the top floor of the shopping gallery, the bookstore is a sort of an indoor microcosm with many sections and perch options, either amongst the shelves, at the miniature Zen garden or at the in-house cafe, The Messengers by JWC. Then, there is also the Signature Market, selling refreshments for a reasonable price, for that much needed snack break, and eslite stationery, a comprehensive specialty stationery wing of the bookstore. In conclusion, in finding this bookstore, with its wide collection of texts, and writing supplies, a café, a mart, and of course the aesthetically pleasing Zen garden, one would be tempted to simply immerse oneself in its perfection.
