This time in Kanazawa, I planned a cultural walk, starting with a visit to Kanazawa Castle. Inside, the vast stone walls and whitewashed towers looked particularly magnificent under the summer sky. The Ninomaru Palace and the restored turrets, in particular, evoked the true atmosphere of the samurai era. The city itself is vast, and strolling through the gardens and moat was a truly relaxing experience.
Next, I visited Oyama Shrine. The most striking feature was the Shinmon Gate, a fusion of Eastern and Western styles. The stained glass shimmered in the sunlight, creating a truly unique experience. The shrine grounds are tranquil, with small bridges, flowing water, and lush greenery, creating a striking contrast to the grandeur of Kanazawa Castle. After visiting, I casually bought an amulet. This itinerary offered a glimpse into the grandeur of history and the gentle beauty of the city. I highly recommend it to travelers who enjoy culture and strolling.
