📍 Madam Kwan’s – The Exchange TRX Review

I was wandering around the TRX mall, hungry, and craving Malay food, so I stopped by. I had high hopes for this place, claiming it was one of Malaysia's best restaurants, and while some aspects were satisfying, there were also some disappointments.

🍛 Atmosphere & Service

The interior was clean and modern, and its location within the mall made it easily accessible. Perhaps because it was lunchtime, there were quite a few customers, and I saw a line of people waiting. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. One customer commented, "Service was prompt and the food was good."

🍽 Food & Menu
• I remember the Nasi Lemak I ordered. The rice was fragrant, with a savory coconut flavor that wasn't overpowering. The chicken, egg, shrimp, and anchovies that came with it all complemented each other well.
• Other reviews said the Cantonese Kuay Teow and fried noodles were decent, but some said the noodle dishes weren't as impressive as the nasi lemak.
• The menu prices were reasonable for a mall restaurant, and the portions were enough for a full meal.

⚠ Cons & Tips
• It's popular, so expect a long wait during lunch and dinner hours.
• Some reviews say the noodle dishes take a while to come out.
• Some reviews say the desserts are sometimes mixed up because "drinks and food are served together."
• If you can't handle spicy food, it's a good idea to ask if they can adjust the spiciness.

👉 Overall Review
This was a great place to stop by when you're craving authentic local food while exploring TRX. Signature dishes like the nasi lemak exceeded expectations, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the noodles were a bit average. Considering the busy times, it's best to go early.
