When it comes to bakeries in Kuala Lumpur, Tommy Le Baker is a must-visit. 🍞 I visited, and it's no surprise its reputation lives up to its reputation. The exterior exudes a simple yet warm atmosphere, and the aroma of freshly baked bread wafted through the air, whetting my appetite. The interior is decorated like a cafe/bakery, with a rustic European ambiance that made me feel like I was on vacation.

The signature item here is definitely the sourdough. 🥖 It had a crispy crust and a chewy, savory interior. The sandwiches are also popular, so I ordered one. The thick bread and generous filling made it more than enough for a full meal. I can see why the roast chicken sandwich and smoked salmon sandwich are especially recommended. 🥪

I also had coffee, and it was a decent choice to pair with the bread. ☕️ Desserts included croissants and pound cake, which were not overly sweet and had a light flavor that suited my taste perfectly.

The only downside is that the store is small and, because it's so popular, brunch fills up quickly. Popular breads sometimes sell out by the afternoon, so it's best to go in the morning. ⏰
