π Tommy Le Baker Review
I visited Tommy Le Baker, a popular spot among bread lovers in Kuala Lumpur. π₯β¨ It's more of a bakery than a cafe, but the simple yet warm interior instantly lifts your spirits with the smell of freshly baked bread. It's a popular spot with both locals and international visitors, so I could tell it's already quite popular by word of mouth.
Their signature dish is definitely the sourdough bread. π₯― The crust is crispy, the inside is moist and chewy, and the texture is truly captivating. The sandwiches were also popular, ranging from simple ham and cheese combinations to hearty options like smoked salmon and roast chicken. They also sell coffee, so I paired it with a latte, which complemented the bread perfectly. βοΈ
While the store isn't large, the open kitchen allows you to watch the bread being made, which is fun to watch. π The staff are friendly and helpful, offering recommendations, and many customers even order takeaway. I think the price is reasonable for the quality of the bread, so it's a great place to frequent while living in the area.
The only downside is that it's so popular that it fills up quickly on weekends, and the bread you want might be sold out if you go too late. π So I recommend visiting in the morning or around lunchtime.
ππ» Overall, I'd say this is a must-visit place if you want to try authentic sourdough and European-style bread in KL. ππ»
