📍 Thean Hou Temple Kuala Lumpur Review

I visited Thean Hou Temple, one of Kuala Lumpur's must-see attractions. 🏯✨ Perched on a hill, the panoramic view of the city was the first thing that struck me. The temple itself is large and ornately decorated, making it a delightful walk from the entrance to the main hall.

The most striking feature, of course, was the plaza filled with red lanterns. 🔴📸 Seeing it in person was even more magnificent than I'd only seen in photos. While it's dazzling during the day, it seems to take on a whole new charm when the lights are lit up at night. The interior of the main hall is a mix of Buddhist and Taoist elements, and there were many people praying, creating a strong religious atmosphere.

At the back of the temple are statues of the twelve zodiac animals, making it a pleasant stroll. I also saw quite a few couples taking wedding photos, adding to the unique atmosphere. 👰🤵 There's also a small garden surrounding the temple, making it a great place to take a break.

The only downside is that public transportation isn't readily available, so Grab or a taxi is the only option. 🚖 Also, the weekends are crowded with tourists, making it difficult to find a quiet spot. Still, it's worth a visit, as it offers a unique experience of traditional Chinese architecture, culture, and religious ambiance all in one place in KL. 👍🏻
