📍 Review of Thean Hou Temple in Kuala Lumpur
I visited Thean Hou Temple, one of the must-see temples in Kuala Lumpur 🏯✨. Perched on a hill, the journey up offers a refreshing city view, and as you enter, the sight of red lanterns hanging densely from the ceiling is truly impressive 🔴📸. There are plenty of photo spots, which explains its popularity among travelers.
The temple combines Buddhist and Taoist elements with traditional Chinese architecture, making every detail of the structure stunningly intricate. Inside the main hall, many people were burning incense and praying 🙏, allowing visitors to fully experience the religious atmosphere. The garden features statues of the 12 zodiac animals, making it a pleasant place to stroll and explore 🐯🐭🐲. It’s also a famous spot for wedding photos, and I even saw couples in wedding attire taking pictures.
The downside is that it’s somewhat inconvenient to reach by public transport 🚖, so using Grab or a taxi is more practical. On weekends, it can get quite crowded with tourists, but the lively atmosphere and numerous attractions make it a memorable visit even if you stay briefly.
👉🏻 Overall, Thean Hou Temple is a must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur where you can experience magnificent traditional architecture, KL city views, and a spiritual ambiance all in one place. Highly recommended for your Kuala Lumpur trip 👍🏻.
