Kuala Lumpur's skyscrapers from the last century

Malaysia boasts several of the world's top three tallest skyscrapers, including the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka 118, and TRX 106 Exchange Tower. These buildings were all completed in the late 20th or 21st centuries. A trip back in time reveals that Malaysia already had quite a few skyscrapers from the mid-20th century. The Daya Bumi Complex and Maybank headquarters, adjacent to Central Market, were iconic landmarks of the era. Furthermore, Kota Raya, the largest shopping mall in the 1980s, was also a major attraction.
