A must-visit for ocean lovers: Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture!
This island is incredibly accessible, only a one-hour high-speed ferry ride from Fukuoka!
So, it's a place you can fully enjoy even in just one day!
Here's the itinerary for my actual one-day trip!
10:00 AM - 📍 Saruiwa (Monkey Rock)
A mysterious rock formation that really looks like a monkey
Take a commemorative photo with Saruiwa (Monkey Rock) 🤳
Go to:
11:00 AM - 📍 Dolphin Park
Watch dolphins swim right in front of you!
Go to:
12:00 PM - 📍 Board a sightseeing boat
View the crystal-clear ocean!
It's so much fun, I highly recommend it!
Go to:
1:00 PM - 📍 Furin
Had lunch!
↓Move
2:00 PM - 📍Tsutsukihama
A beach recommended for those who love to swim!
Water sports are also available!
↓Move
4:30 PM - 📍Kojima Shrine
If you go at low tide, a path opens up to the shrine, making it a mystical place you can visit!
↓
Take the 5:00 PM ferry back home.
It was an island that was so satisfying and enjoyable, even in just one day!
There was so much to see, it was definitely a place I'd like to visit again!
Since transportation on Iki is primarily by car, you'll probably need a rental car!
If you're planning a trip to Iki, please use this as a travel guide!
