Kuching is one of the most prosperous cities in East Malaysia, which retains a high level of local culture on its way to modernisation.

It can be seen from both the architecture of many buildings eg the Sarawak Legislative Assembly and Kuching Waterfront, and the nostalgic street views.

It’s highly recommendable to take a stroll along the Sarawak River, which will allow you to pass through many of the Kuching trademark views.
