Just came back from an amazing 3D2N trip to Kuching and loved every moment of it!
Day 1:
I reached Kuching around 4 pm and went straight to the popular CHAGEE 霸王茶姬 @ Taman Sahabat, the palace-like building is beautiful and worth a stop if you love tea. After that, I headed to the iconic Darul Hana Bridge at night, it’s a must-see! The colorful water fountain show with music makes the whole place feel so festive and lively.
Day 2:
Started the day with a hearty bowl of Sarawak Laksa at a local kopitiam — absolutely delicious! Then I spent the day at Bako National Park, which was definitely the highlight of my trip. Even though it rained during my trek, I loved exploring the lush rainforest trails and soaking in the natural scenery. I didn’t see much wildlife during the hike, but I did spot the famous bearded pig back at the base. The trails can be quite challenging but the views and experience are worth it, a must-visit if you’re in Kuching!
Day 3:
On my last day, I had some tasty kolo mee in the morning, then visited the Borneo Museum I really enjoyed learning more about the local culture and history there. After that, I did some mall hopping at The Spring and Vivacity Megamall for a bit of shopping and to cool down before heading home.
All in all, it was an amazing short getaway! Delicious food, friendly people, beautiful sights, and unforgettable adventures. Kuching is truly a hidden gem worth exploring! ✨🌴
