My weekend visit to Putuo Village (普陀村) with friends was a truly remarkable experience! This charming and peaceful Buddhist temple is nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by beautiful landscapes, creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere.

The temple features intricate architecture and a striking giant dragon sculpture made entirely of bamboo — a truly impressive sight. Within the compound, there’s also a cozy Fat Bamboo Cafe, perfect for relaxing with a drink while soaking in the serene surroundings.

Just beside the temple lies the Purple Bamboo Garden (紫竹谷), a tranquil bamboo garden with towering bamboo trees and plenty of Instagrammable spots. There’s also a lovely teahouse where visitors can unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

Adults: RM10, Seniors & Children: RM5.

⏩ 🕘 Opening Hours (Both Places):
Monday to Friday: 9 am – 6 pm.
Saturday & Sunday: 9 am – 10 pm.
