#100 Ways to Travel
Visiting Suizenji Jojuen Garden was one of the most memorable experiences I had in Kumamoto. As soon as you step into this traditional Japanese garden, it feels like you have entered a paradise far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by the harmonious beauty of tranquility and nature. The garden has a clear pond, well-trimmed pine trees, and stone lanterns and winding paths, showing the ultimate ingenuity of Japanese gardening. As you stroll along the path, you seem to feel the slow passage of time with every step, immersing yourself in the poetic scene before your eyes.
A visit in early autumn adds to the charming atmosphere. The cool autumn breeze blows, and the leaves gradually turn red, filling the entire garden with the unique charm of the changing seasons. Every corner of the garden is full of details, making people stop and savor them carefully. I especially like to sit on a bench in the garden and quietly feel the peace and beauty of nature at this moment. This visit not only allowed me to experience the profound aesthetics of Japanese gardens, but was also a rare spiritual journey that allowed me to truly relax and return to myself. If you like quiet and delicate scenery, Suizenji Jojuen Garden is definitely worth a visit.
