Day 4 in Kumamoto: Explore the Japanese secrets of Suizenji Jojuen Garden, feast on the ultimate yakiniku at Jyojuen Garden, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Okada Coffee

This day's itinerary was like a microcosm of Japanese culture, from the garden landscaping to the food feast, to the afternoon drugstore and coffee experience, it left a deep impression on me. First, we came to Suizenji Jojuen Garden. The scenery before us unfolded like a picture scroll from the Edo period. The hills, waterside and elegant Japanese buildings intertwined to create a quaint Japanese beauty. Walking through the park, one feels as if traveling through time and space, immersed in a tranquil and leisurely atmosphere. Such design aesthetics make one marvel at the delicate beauty of Japanese gardens.

Next, it was the most anticipated food experience of this trip - the barbecue at "Xu Xu Yuan". I had heard that this famous yakiniku restaurant had an excellent reputation, and after tasting it, it really lived up to my expectations. The juiciness of each bite of meat, the melt-in-your-mouth flavor of the Wagyu beef, and the special sauce make it an irresistible treat that you’ll want to savor again and again. Such a top-notch feast is truly satisfying.

After finishing my drugstore shopping, I felt a little exhausted, so I walked into the nearby Okada Coffee. This café is famous for its aromatic coffee and cozy environment, and it really lives up to its reputation. I ordered a cup of coffee, found a seat by the window, and quietly enjoyed a moment of relaxation. The street view outside the window and the aroma of coffee brought this trip to a perfect end.
