The Nagasaki Jiro Tea Room (with #Nagasaki Jiro Bookstore on the first floor) is a historic building in Kumamoto City, Japan, dating back to the Nagasaki Jiro Bookstore, founded in 1874. The existing building, designed in 1924 by architect Katsuya Yasuoka, blends Western and Chinese styles and was registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property in 1998. The tea room opened on the second floor in 2014, preserving the period wooden architecture and offering a quaint atmosphere where guests can enjoy coffee and delicious pastries.
