Unexpectedly beautiful scenery and unexpected outdoor shopping - Montbell Aso Kuju National Park Branch

While traveling around Japan by renting a car, I would like to share my memories of shopping in an unexpected place with a wonderful view.

Near the highway where you can see Mt. Nakadake in the cloudy Aso Kuju National Park in Kumamoto, there is a store called Montbell.

The advertising copy, ‘This is the outdoors’ comes to mind as it blends in with the surrounding natural scenery.

Inside the store, there are limited products sold only at this store, and I had an experience where my wallet was thinned by the friendly staff and various outdoor products.

A wonderful view and a wonderful experience at an outdoor store.

It was a fresh and memorable travel memory.
