National Museum

Yunnan Nationalities Museum is located next to Yunnan Nationalities Village on the shore of Dianchi Lake. It is the most concentrated collection and exhibition place of the history and culture of various ethnic minorities in Yunnan, and the largest ethnic museum in Southeast Asia.
There are more than 10,000 exhibits on display here, divided into the following themes: "Social Forms of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan - Reform and Development", "Ecological Industry of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan", "Textile Crafts and Costume Art of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan", "Folk Art of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan", "Festivals, Music and Dance of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan", "Handicrafts of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan", "Ancient Books and Documents of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan" and "Strange Stones and Treasures".
The exhibitions and collections include Dai betel nut boxes, Zhuang hundred-wedge drums, Yao picking knives, Naxi Dongba scriptures, Yi wooden ladles, and more.
The second picture shows the meaning of the Jingpo physical letters from top to bottom: long time no see, miss you very much; there is a war here, bring weapons and food to join the war; burn down the enemy's house; I have enough money to live on; express longing, please consider our affairs.
