Kunming's limited-time spring romance is online now at Yuantong Cherry Blossom Festival.

The cherry blossoms in Yuantong Hill Park are a major highlight of Spring City. The blooming season lasts from mid-to-late December to the end of March each year, with the best viewing period from mid-to-late February to early March. Thousands of Yunnan cherry blossoms and weeping crabapples bloom in competition, forming a pink sea of flowers that attracts many tourists. Yuantong Hill is one of the top ten cherry blossom viewing spots in the country, and it is also the only native cherry blossom plantation in the country. The "Yuantong Cherry Blossom Festival" is an intangible cultural heritage of Yunnan Province, showcasing Kunming's unique spring romance.
