A botanical garden developed as the venue for the Kunming International Horticultural Exposition held in 1999. 🪴

With the theme of coexistence between nature and humans, it is still crowded with many tourists.

The inside is very large, so I recommend that you allow yourself plenty of time and narrow down the gardens and exhibition halls you want to see first. 😊

I visited during the cherry blossom season, so I was able to enjoy spring by seeing a slightly different type of cherry blossom than in Japan. 🌸

There are also various other events held throughout the year, so if you are planning a visit, I recommend checking the season and event information in advance!
