Introducing Watchtower

Located atop the Wangnong Pavilion at Shennongding, the 40-meter-tall Observation Tower serves as a supporting facility for forest fire prevention and monitoring forest pests and diseases. Atop the tower is a high-powered telescope. Interested visitors can climb the tower and borrow the telescope (coins required) to gaze out over the lush, verdant Shennongjia primeval forest. The view is particularly breathtaking after rain, when the mist shrouds the forest and creates a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
