Kunming's Version of Hogwarts!! The Magic Level is Off the Charts

OMG, you won't believe this! I originally came to Kunming just for travel and stayed at the Deliana Hotel, but I was completely captivated by the surrounding "magical world" 🤩

📍Transportation: From Deliana Hotel, take Bus 54 to Victory Square, then navigate to Oriental Bookstore. Walk 100 meters straight along the stone-paved road next to Victory Hall, pass Duiyue Tower, continue straight for about 200 meters, turn right at the intersection of Fulin Pharmacy, and walk another 50 meters. It's right next to Mixue Ice Cream.
The moment I stepped into the bookstore, the spiral staircase piled high with books instantly transported me into the magical world of Hogwarts. Warm yellow lights spilled over the old books, and every step felt like uncovering a mysterious spellbook. Sitting on the stairs for photos, every shot was effortlessly atmospheric—as if I’d receive my Hogwarts acceptance letter any second 📜

📍Dwarf Kingdom Mushroom Village

📍Transportation: About a 1-hour taxi ride, or drive directly by navigating to "Dwarf Kingdom Mushroom Village." The scenic route is perfect for a road trip.
This place is literally a real-life fairy tale world, with red, yellow, and green mushroom houses scattered around like homes of tiny elves. Entering the Jiligulu Town, the 12 Hobbit-themed cottages are unbearably cute, with colorful exteriors and little gardens, making you feel like you’ve stepped into Middle-earth from *The Lord of the Rings*. Every photo here is guaranteed to blow up your social media feed.

📍Anning Shepherd Lake Hobbit Cottage

📍Transportation: From Deliana Hotel, drive to "Shepherd Lake," about a 1-hour trip.
The windmill corridor at the entrance of Shepherd Lake is perfect for photos, with its giant white windmill array. There’s also a cloud walkway—standing on the suspended glass platform overlooking the vast grassland feels like walking on clouds ☁. But the highlight is the mini Middle-earth Hobbit cottage, with its round door and sheep grazing on the hillside, creating the ultimate cozy vibe. Standing on the slope in front of the cottage and taking a wide-angle shot gives off major fairy-tale energy.
