Stumbled upon a bookstore in Kunming that absolutely stole my heart! ✨

Next to Rubber Bookstore is Paper Stone Bookstore, a five-story wonder where each floor boasts unique design concepts and display styles—every turn offers fresh delight.

Though the fifth floor was under maintenance during my visit, the first four floors alone could easily keep me enchanted for half a day!

Every time I discover a beloved bookstore, café, or flower shop, the same thought pops up: "How wonderful it would be to work here!" ✨

I adore working in cozy spaces—where everything around pleases the eye, lifts the mood, and seems to infuse energy into every task.

It reminds me of childhood, when adults nagged: "Take breaks while reading or doing homework—look at the greenery, gaze at the lush trees outside." Back then, it felt like tedious advice, in one ear and out the other.

But with age comes appreciation: when you’re hunched over work or study, neck stiff, and suddenly lift your eyes to a window framing a burst of green—it’s like a spring breeze melting all tension, utterly healing.

Paper Stone has a few such windows, offering glimpses of vibrant foliage.

I can’t help but wonder: might those studying, reading, or simply resting here stumble upon sudden inspiration or clarity from an accidental glance at that very greenery? 😊
