Stroll with seagulls at Green Lake Park 翠湖公园

November is the beginning of the season where Siberian seagulls migrate to Yunnan. Here in Green Lake Park, I was lucky to have witnessed seagulls circling around the lake.

The lotus flowers have wilted in November but still I can imagine the beauty of this place once winter is over. You can still see ducks swimming on the lake and the entire walk is truly relaxing. The charm of this place still remains even in November.

There are multiple restaurants, tea cafes and rose pastries shops around this lake. As a first-timer tourist to Yunnan, it’s very easy to get around with the help of Amap app.

Thanks to Amap recommendation, I picked a restaurant (Grandma’s Kitchen) right outside the gate of the Lake Park and the local dishes are amazing, service is also great!

Tip: Go easy on food ordering because the portion is HUGE. Add on only if you need more dishes.
