Zhouzhuang, with its small bridges, flowing water, whitewashed walls, and black-tiled roofs, resembles a traditional Chinese ink painting.🌿 Stroll along the bluestone paths and experience the tranquility and leisure of the ancient town, where time seems to slow down.
👀Must-See Attractions
✅Twin Bridges: The landmark of Zhouzhuang, these two connected stone bridges unlock the treasures of the water town.
✅Shen Hall: The former residence of Shen Wansan, a wealthy merchant of the Jiangnan region, this magnificent building showcases the exquisite and elegant style of Jiangnan gardens.
✅Zhang Hall: A Ming Dynasty building with a simple and elegant style and a deep courtyard, offering a glimpse into the life of a wealthy Jiangnan family.
✅South Lake: The mother lake of Zhouzhuang, with breathtaking scenery. Take a boat trip to experience the gentle charm of the water town.
Zhouzhuang Ancient Town is not large, so walking is recommended to fully appreciate its slow pace. I've heard the night view is stunning, and I hope to experience it myself someday.😌
