Conquering Yushan Main Peak: A Thrilling Dayhike Adventure

We embarked on a challenging dayhike to Yushan Main Peak, the highest point in Taiwan. Starting at midnight, we reached the Paiyun Lodge by 10am and began our ascent. The trail took us through scenic spots like Monroe Pavilion, White-wood Forest Observation Deck, and the Great Precipice. After a brief lunch break, we pushed on to the summit, savoring the breathtaking views. The descent was just as thrilling, with a total hike time of 14 hours. This dayhike was a true test of endurance, but the sense of accomplishment and the stunning scenery made it all worthwhile. A must-do for adventure seekers!
