Kuche Ancient Citywalk, enjoy the ancient city style

After appreciating the vast and magnificent scenery of Xinjiang, you may feel that the scenery of the ancient city of Kuqa may be a little inferior, but believe me, if you have half a day or a day to spare, then go and visit this ancient city.

Take a look at the Kuche Palace and shake hands with the last princess 🤝🏻Walk along the Restan Old Street, taste the popular meat skewers, jar meat, baked buns, and pilaf, and then visit the second largest mosque in Xinjiang and the distinctive Qiuci alleys.

Kuche Palace
The last Princess of Kuche still lives here. You can take a photo with her in the living room and have the princess put a hat on you for 30💰/person. There is a "Kucha Museum" in the palace.
There are 600 items, you can take a look.

Hotan Old Street 🛕
After leaving the palace, go straight to the Restan Old Street. "Restan" means "shopping mall, market" in Uyghur. Take a stroll along the way, and you will see all kinds of snacks, meals, clothing, handicrafts, etc., as well as many colorful doors, which will make your mood colorful!

Qiuci Alley 🛖
Qiuci Alley is the most complete street pattern and style block in the old city of Kuqa in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It has both traces of ancient life and imprints of the new generation's life, colorful doors 🚪, various flower walls, and is very photogenic. It is very pleasant to visit.

Food Recommendations
👉🏻Patiguli Reheman noodle shop. The freshly baked big steamed buns are half a meter in diameter, fragrant and hot, and almost everyone holds one in their hands.
👉🏻Kuqa Alim Stuffed Noodle Restaurant. I highly recommend the baked buns and kebabs. The kebabs are bigger than you can imagine and the prices are surprisingly cheap.
