Kurume - A clean and quiet little town

For those traveling to Fukuoka, this small town might not be their top destination. However, for international students, taking a day trip by car is definitely worth it.

The view from Takano Shrine is truly stunning, and in August, there seems to be a lantern festival, which will surely make it even more beautiful 🏮.

The ruins of Kurume Castle have now become a shrine, but since the castle ruins are located on a hill, you can overlook the Chikugo River. On clear evenings, you might see students cycling along both sides of the riverbank, creating a youthful atmosphere 🚲.

The famous "Cannon Ramen" is also worth a try.
