Three times a year, the Yubatake harvests "Yunohana", a deposit of hot spring water.
The harvesting of yunohana has continued since the Edo period, and in the Meiji period, the Yubatake was named after the place where yunohana was picked.
There are many spots in the surrounding area, such as foot baths and souvenir shops.
