🌞 My Experience
• A must-visit pagoda when in Myanmar – truly jaw-dropping! The golden stupa shines brilliantly under the sun, and as the rays hit from different angles, the colors and reflections shift beautifully ✨.
• I visited in the morning, and it was already quite hot, so definitely be prepared for the weather.
• I was accompanied by a local guide whom I met while walking downtown – supporting his business made the visit more meaningful, and he shared interesting insights about the pagoda and Buddhist culture 🙏.
• Walking around the complex gives you a chance to admire the smaller shrines, statues, and prayer halls that surround the main golden stupa.
