It will be held almost every day in August, especially during the summer vacation period.

*There may be days during the period when the Night Aquarium is not held even on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Please check the official website.

You can see, hear and learn how creatures spend their time at night and how they sleep.

It's also recommended as a night spot for dates.

■Location: 35-1 Kankiji-cho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto
Inside Umekoji Park
■Aquarium at night business hours: 9:00-20:00 (some days open from 10:00-20:00)
■Closed days: none
■Price: 2,400 yen for adults, 1,800 yen for children, 800 yen for ages 3 and over
■Access: 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto Station
Approx. 7 minutes on foot from Umekoji Kyoto-nishi Station on the JR Sanin Main Line
