Visit the beautifully lit Okinawa Prefectural Museum Art Museum

To Okinawa in the summer 🏝️☀️

I went to the Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum (Okimyu), which I always missed out on going to ✨
All Okinawan buildings have a charm that you can't find in Tokyo, but the light was especially beautiful and this building was wonderful.

This is a rare facility in Japan that combines a museum and an art museum. The museum was founded in 1946, just after the Battle of Okinawa, as the Okinawa Civil Government Higashionna Museum, and has been in operation for over 70 years.

It was too hot so I went in the evening, but next time I'd like to go when the light is at its maximum ☺️
