[Kyoto, World Heritage Site Trip]

Kyoto is home to many cultural buildings. Many of them are designated as #World Heritage Sites, so you can fully enjoy Kyoto's charm just by visiting these World Heritage sites.

One such site is #NijoCastle. It's one of the few castles in Kyoto that doesn't have a castle tower like other castles, so it feels a bit fresh. When you walk inside, you hear a creaking sound. This is called uguifubari, and there are various theories about its origins, including the sound of aging or a warning of enemy invasions. It's easily accessible from the subway, so I recommend taking the subway.

The second site is #Ninnaji Temple. It's famous for its large gate and its tranquil five-story pagoda. The #cherryblossoms are also beautiful, so I recommend visiting in spring. Nearby are #Kinkakuji Temple and #Ryoanji Temple, so be sure to visit them as well.
