"Yasurai Doll" to ward off epidemics, available only in summer, Imamiya Shrine

Imamiya Shrine - Avoiding epidemics
Summer-only Eisha Goshuin

This shrine is a place where people pray to avoid disasters, along with the famous Yasaka Shrine, which was built to stop epidemics during the Heian period.

It is located in a natural environment, and the air is very clean and soothing.

When I visited in July, there was a summer-only goshuin.

Summer-only Eisha Goshuin - 1,000 yen
*You can write it directly in your goshuin book, not in advance

Imamiya Shrine is famous for its "Yasurai Dolls (300 yen each)" that can be used to avoid epidemics and pray for good health.
You can write your name on a paper doll with your wishes for good health.
The summer purification ritual is over, and if you want to stay healthy for the remaining six months of 2023, why not visit the shrine and pray for good health at the "Yasurai Dolls"?
