A hidden spot for viewing autumn leaves, just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station!

I went there just during the peak viewing season, and there were few people, so it was easy to see✨

Shosei-en is the garden of Higashi Honganji Temple, affectionately known to Kyoto residents as "Otosu-san". As it is an exclave garden, it is a little far from Higashi Honganji Temple😌

You can enjoy the seasonal atmosphere with plum and cherry blossoms in spring, irises and water lilies in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn🍁
