Kyoto ✨️Tenryuji Temple✨️ is located in Arashiyama, in western Kyoto. To the south lies the Katsuragawa River, which flows from the turbulent Hozugawa River, and the beautiful Togetsukyo Bridge spans it. It's said that all of these areas, including Kameyama Park in the west, were once part of Tenryuji Temple grounds. Tenryuji suffered several fires, and most of the buildings were rebuilt between the Meiji and Showa periods. However, the Sogenchi Garden (曹源池庭園), surrounded by the Daibojo and the Fire Chief, retains its original 700-year-old appearance, created by Muso Kokushi.
