Omakase in Gion Karyo

Omakase in Gion Karyo, Kyoto, a delicious affair.
Requires advanced booking.
We got our hotel to do this before our arrival.
The staff can speak simple English and helped with our taxi post-dinner.
Enjoyed the evening with great laughter!

Dishes we had were :
Ark shell with vegetables plus manju appetizer was a great start.
Milky and rich with a slice of soft sea bream
Tempura
Sashimi of the day - tuna, snapper and some shell fish
Tofu skin with chestnut rice.

Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic kaiseki experience in Kyoto which won't break your bank.
