When it comes to Tofukuji Temple, the bright red leaves of the autumn leaves are very beautiful. The view of nature across the photogenic Tsutenkyo Bridge is a must-see

There are almost no cherry trees, and about 600 years ago, they were cut down because "if there are cherry trees, they will definitely become a place of entertainment in the future and interfere with training," and about 2,000 maple trees were planted instead. It's a truly spectacular sight!

A hidden gem at Tofukuji Temple
There are not many people, so you can spend a relaxing time.
It's perfect for spending time calming your mind, enjoying tea and sweets while looking at the garden

⑦-⑧ National Treasure Sanmon Gate
Rebuilt during the Muromachi period, Sanmon Gate is the oldest and largest Zen Sanmon gate in Japan
On the upper floors, there are Shaka Nyorai and wooden Buddha statues, and the Pure Land is painted on the ceiling, and when I went there, there was a staff member who explained the meaning of the Buddha statues and the paintings on the ceiling.
