💞Recommended reasons:
There are many restaurants in Shinkyogoku Shopping Street in Kawaramachi, Kyoto. Suddenly I saw a very delicious restaurant. I tried it with the spirit that restaurants that can survive on B1 or above the 2nd floor are not bad. Unexpectedly, it was still full during the off-peak dining time in the afternoon. I quickly ordered "A Lunch" and "Baked Omelet Rice". It turns out that this is an old store that was founded in 1925. No wonder the store still maintains a retro Western style. It must have been the most luxurious store in Kyoto back then!
Transportation Guide: The nearest station is Kyoto Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line, and it is about a 6-minute walk away. Get off at Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line and walk for 10 minutes. Get off at Shijo Station on the Kyoto Metro Karasuma Line and walk for about 10 minutes.
"A lunch" is a set meal consisting of a hamburger and seafood, with side dishes of omelette and lettuce salad, and comes with a plate of rice and thick soup. It costs ¥1529 yen. It tasted just as you imagined, the gravy flowed out when you cut the hamburger meat, it was of very high quality. The "Baked Omelet Rice" is made of cheese and European-style curry. The omelet melts in your mouth and slides down your throat easily. This is only 1,012 yen. No wonder it is still a favorite of Kyoto people after a century of operation. If you pass by Shinkyogoku Shopping Street, you may want to stop by and try it.
