Tenryuji Temple, a great place to see autumn leaves

This temple is located in Arashiyama, near the famous landmark of the bamboo forest tunnel. When you step into the temple grounds, you will feel cool because the temple grounds have a garden full of various ornamental plants. Especially when you come during the autumn leaves season, you will see yellow, orange, and red leaves decorating the garden, which is truly magnificent and beautiful. How to get there: The author traveled by train and got off at Saga Arashiyama Station, then walked for about 5-10 minutes to reach the temple. The entrance fee to this temple is 500 yen.
