Tenryuji Temple

Tenryuji Temple is a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Arashiyama. This temple has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Inside the temple, there is a beautifully designed garden, which is a highlight for viewing Kyoto's famous autumn foliage. Additionally, the path behind the temple leads directly to the bamboo forest. You can explore the bamboo forest first and then enter the temple from the rear entrance.

Admission fee: 500 yen

The atmosphere is wonderful. I visited in May when the trees were lush and green—it was so refreshing! Has anyone else been here before?
