The Gyaatei meal is a colorful obanzai meal that changes with the season.
There are many small dishes lined up, so I'm excited to decide which one to eat first💓

This time's meal was a summer version!
・Seasonal grilled fish
・Dried soy milk skin with wasabi sauce
・Hamo otoshi
・Dashimaki and dashi
・Cold melon soup
・Manganji tofu and grilled Manganji
・Yuzen-style mackerel and tomato dashi
・Fried eggplant and raw gluten
・Cold chawanmushi with soy milk cheese
・Domestic beef saikyo-zuke roast beef
・Matcha warabi mochi

I'm happy to be able to enjoy a lot of seasonal ingredients✨️
You can see the contents by lifting the small bowl👏

Everything was really delicious, but my favorites were the cold chawanmushi and cold melon soup.

The chawanmushi with soy milk cheese was smooth and chilled, perfect for summer💕
It also had shrimp in it, so I was very satisfied!

The cold melon soup was so delicious that it made me think that mogu kayu, which I can't eat melon, was delicious💓
It was sweet and had a slight melon scent.
The texture of the arare rice crackers went perfectly with the soup!

I changed from white rice to a yuba bowl for an additional fee, and it was a good choice🙆♀️
The yuba and the soft bean paste are delicious.
It goes down so easily that it's great for summer when your appetite is low✨️

The shiso juice was recommended by the restaurant.
It was refreshing and went well with rice as well as before or after meals☺️

Everything was so elegant and gentle in taste that I was happy to be full💕
It was also nice that it was well balanced with fish and vegetables.
It changes with the seasons, so I'm interested in the autumn version☺️

✍️There are counter seats and box seats inside the restaurant.
I visited on a weekday this time, so I was able to get in without having to wait in line!

Everyone at the restaurant is very polite and it's a wonderful restaurant✨️
If you sit at the counter, you can look down at the view of Arashiyama⛰
