Wat Sai Moon

Wat Sai Moon Muang is an important area that reflects the water management in Chiang Mai.
There is a pipe in front of the temple to drain water from the moat to Mae Kha Canal. Therefore, it has been a water receiving area since ancient times.

It is also the temple where "Kruba Chao Phutthawachirawongsa Aranyawasi" resides. He is a disciple of "Kruba Chao Panya Maha Pa Chao".
Some places call it "Kruba Chao Panya Wachira", meaning Maha Swathu Chao Wachira Maha Pa, Suan Dok Temple, the Great King of Chiang Mai.
Therefore, Wat Sai Moon is another important Pali language school in Chiang Mai.
