So, I came to Kyoto!

This time, I took a stroll around the vast Kyoto Gyoen to see the cherry blossoms!

There were many different kinds of cherry blossoms in full bloom,

but the one I hadn't seen myself was

✅Kuruma Kaeshi Sakura

It's said that when Emperor Gomizunoo went out, he was so impressed by the beauty of the cherry blossoms that he returned his carriage to admire them, so this name was given to it.

Well, it was a magnificent cherry blossom with a lot of volume.

It's a double-flowered cherry, so it looks very impressive and voluminous!

It was worth the walk!
