Kodaiji Temple

It is a popular temple that attracts many tourists in Kyoto.
The temple was opened in 1606 by Nene, the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi,

after the death of Toyotomi Hideyoshi,
the powerful person at that time, to pray for
a good afterlife. This temple is a large temple
and was patronized by Tokugawa Ieyasu,
who founded the Edo Shogunate.

However, the temple was lost to fires many times.
